Good Friday

Today is Good Friday.

We have been on a journey this week and now we find ourselves here. At the foot of the cross. Placing myself in this moment I am so overwhelmed by what Jesus did for me, for us all. After He had been arrested, beaten, spat upon, humiliated, betrayed and nailed to a cross He said:

“Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.”

‭‭Luke‬ ‭23:34‬ ‭NIV‬‬

How deep is God’s love for us that He would send His Son, Jesus, to die for us!!

Today is Good Friday which sounds totally opposite of Jesus dying in such a horrible way. How can we say it’s Good Friday? Because the outcome of what Jesus did saves us from all our sin.

We are washed clean, set free, made white as snow!! Today is the time to reflect and know that accepting the gift of Jesus into your life means you are free, you are forgiven!! Easter is coming!!!!!! Hallelujah!

Have a blessed day my friends!! Jesus loves you, God loves you, and so do I!

We felt that Gwen really connected with our audience and her stories were memorable. We were all encouraged by the way she incorporated scripture as she spoke about how God satisfied her soul during a really dark time in life. She is a beautiful Pastor and witness for Jesus!

Becky,

Gwen spoke at my mother's church's Mother and Daughter Banquet today. I was fortunate enough to be a guest and to hear her for the first time. Her message was beautiful, relevant and most importantly a blessing. Although scripture was the foundation of her message, sharing her personal experiences made it more relatable. God is good.
