Holy Week Thursday

Jesus said, “do as I have done for you”.

Good morning! I pray all of you had a restful night!

Today is considered Maundy Thursday for Holy Week. It is the day that Jesus ate with his disciples before he was arrested and crucified on the cross. But before they ate together Jesus took off his garments and put on the clothing of a servant. He then proceeded to kneel down before each of the disciples and wash their feet. For me, just the thought of Jesus washing my feet brings tears to my eyes. Jesus, God’s Son, the Savior of the world washing my feet?

And then after He was done He said, “ I have set you an example to go and do likewise”.

May we always choose to follow Jesus’ example in order to serve others, love others and show how much He loves them!

Be blessed today my friends! Jesus loves you and so do I!!

We felt that Gwen really connected with our audience and her stories were memorable. We were all encouraged by the way she incorporated scripture as she spoke about how God satisfied her soul during a really dark time in life. She is a beautiful Pastor and witness for Jesus!

Becky,

Gwen spoke at my mother's church's Mother and Daughter Banquet today. I was fortunate enough to be a guest and to hear her for the first time. Her message was beautiful, relevant and most importantly a blessing. Although scripture was the foundation of her message, sharing her personal experiences made it more relatable. God is good.
