Saved by Grace

"For it is by grace you have been saved through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift from God - not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." Ephesians 2:8-10 NIV

What a wonderful assurance we have! We have been saved by grace and not by anything we have done or are going to do!

I am so thankful! How are we saved by grace? Through our faith! Our faith in God and Jesus Christ, Our Lord and Savior! This grace is given freely for anyone who would accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior!

If it was left up to me and my good works, I would fail miserably! Because I am human I will never get everything right at all times! Because you are human, neither will you!

Thankfully in the Scripture above being saved by grace is not in our hands, but in God's and Jesus Christ. The reason this is so is because that way we cannot boast that it was in our power and strength we are able to do good things.

We are saved by grace because we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works!

Once we accept that Jesus died on the cross in our place, then rose again, after 3 days, is alive and coming back again one day, we are saved by grace!

Hallelujah! Giving God all the glory! If it was left up to us what a mess we would make!
